Usa-mimi, a rabbit-eared girl and neko-mimi, a cat-eared girl are two of most popular features of kemono-mimi, animal eared characters.

Here is an illustration of

  • a rabbit girl, a rabbit-eared school girl of a public junior high school,
  • and cat-eared Mikachan, SUZUKI Mika, a rabbit-eared school girl of a public junior high school,

both of Producer's original featured characters at a classroom of their cram school.

In the original settings, Mikachan does not have cat ears but Producer of Marguerite Site also set Neko Miko Mikachan, a cat-eared Mikachan, as a derivative character and has created some works of her.

Producer of Marguerite Site had created some works of Neko Miko Mikachan with her school uniform and HORIKITA Maki Usagi, but he had not remembered that the rabbit girl, a younger sister of HORIKITA Maki Usagi, is the same years of age as Mikachan, so he created the picture above.

When he completed to draw both of them, he was troubled with what the background of the picture would be, because the rabbit girl and Mikachan lives in different place and goes to different school each other, so they has not related to each other.

At last he drew them at a class room of a cram school, but

  • Mikachan is a so honor student that she is a representative of her class,
  • while the rabbit girl is so poor student that she has been given a scolding that she should study more by HORIKITA Maki Usagi, her elder sister,

so they may be at different class each other even they go to a same cram school.

The reason why Producer of Marguerite Site created the picture above is that he retook an animated GIF image of Neko Miko Mikachan at the Ground of her Shrine in the Raining Afternoon of June, a work by Producer created in June of 2015.

Neko Miko Mikachan is set as a derivative character of Mikachan, but Producer sometimes creates works of her.

Also, here is a St. Valentine's Day special video of Neko Miko Mikachan, created in February of 2016.

Producer created a St. Valentine's Day special video in 2016 staring HORIKITA Maki Usagi, but he had enough time to create another special video, so he created the video above.
